I was interested to see that you can easily set up sales funneling on Google Analytics to see if your website is appropriately funneling people to your goal page. A goal page can be a shopping cart for example. The example of a funnel is similar to the one Jim Teece described in class. I did like the sales funnel presented in class by Jim better than the one in this article. Figure #1 below shows the example presented by Jim. The blog just describes the funnel as checkout, fill out shipping information, fill out billing information and confirm a purchase. In the blog, there is also a tip to give each funnel step a descriptive name to help when running reports on Google Analytics. I found this bit of information useful.
